Vote in the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election
Dear Bruin Community:
With the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election quickly approaching, we want to ensure that every eligible member of our campus community has the opportunity and information needed to exercise their right to vote. Below are important details about how to vote at UCLA, including resources and procedures.
Vote Centers at UCLA
UCLA serves as a convenient location for voting. There are three Vote Centers on campus where any voter in Los Angeles County can cast their ballot:
- De Neve Plaza – Rooms A and B
- Address: 351 Charles E Young Drive W, Los Angeles, CA 90024
- Voting Period: Oct. 26–Nov. 5
- Vote Center Hours: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Nov. 5 hours: 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

Visit the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s website to find other Vote Centers across L.A. County.
Vote-by-Mail
California voters registered by the deadline were mailed a Vote-by-Mail ballot. Completed ballots can be dropped off at various locations, including USPS post offices, USPS Blue Boxes, official L.A. County Vote-by-Mail Drop Boxes (UCLA’s Drop Box is located on Westwood Plaza in front of the Strathmore Building), or at a Vote Center. All ballots must be postmarked by Election Day (Nov. 5, 2024) to be counted.
Same-Day Voting
Eligible voters in L.A. County who are not registered to vote by the deadline can still visit any Vote Center, including those at UCLA, to conditionally register to vote and cast their ballot. This process requires additional steps, so first-time voters are encouraged to avoid the Election Day rush and visit a Vote Center early.
Election Night Watch Party
Members of the UCLA community can join BruinsVote and UCLA Campus Life for an Election Night Watch Party in the Pauley Pavilion Club on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 5–10 p.m. Be in community with others as you watch the results come in from a variety of newscasts. Light refreshments will be provided and attendees must show their BruinCard upon entry.

Your participation in the democratic process is vital, and we encourage everyone who is eligible to make their voices heard by casting their ballot by November 5. Together, let's make a difference in shaping our future.
Sincerely,
The CLDE Network
